Reaching The World, One Song At A Time™

Progressive, powerful and passionate:
the music of SWEET CRYSTAL
is universal in its appeal and eternal in its message.

The musicians that make up SWEET CRYSTAL - Marq Andrew Speck on lead vocals and keys, Bill Blatter on guitars and vocals, Steve Wieser on drums and newest member of the band Martin Kuchar on bass  - are on the front line of the Christian rock music scene, holding high the message of the cross.
Welcome to the world of 5 Carat Rock:  sweet, very sweet indeed!

SWEET CRYSTAL Recognized By National Organization

Citing "Extraordinary support and generosity from Sweet Crystal! Helping our mission w/ the healing power of music therapy programs for hospitalized children!", the band was given a plaque commemorating their sponsorship of the Dick Wagner "Remember The Child " Fund.

"There is more love in the human heart than can ever be given away." Dick Wagner

Dick Wagner, "The Maestro of Rock," (1942-2014) was legendary for his songwriting and lead guitar playing with Alice Cooper, Lou Reed, The Frost, Aerosmith, Kiss, and many more. Throughout his 50 year career in rock and roll, Dick Wagner generously donated his musical talents to support children's charities. Consistent with his legacy, our Concert profits benefit the Children's Miracle Network, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Detroit area children's hospitals, Beaumont Children's Hospital, and C.S. Mott Children's Hospital.

"This was an easy decision for us" says Q. " Anytime we can help improve the lives of... anyone but especially a child, well you know all you have to do is ask and we will be there."

Sweet, very sweet indeed.

SWEET CRYSTAL wins two 2017 Detroit Music Awards!

Continuing an annual trend (that we have no plans to stop any time soon), this year's DMA ceremonies found Sweet Crystal picking up two more awards.

Outstanding Gospel/Christian Recording ("5 Carat Rock")
Outstanding Gospel/Christian Vocalist (Marq Andrew Speck)

That raises the amount of these prestigious awards to SEVENTEEN for the boys and in 2017, that seems pretty sweet to us.
